When to install windows in a new home?
Installation of plastic in a newly built house should take place after building the walls and installing the roofing, but before starting to apply plaster, both internal and external. It is important to ensure adequate ventilation of the premises after the building is closed and wet work is completed. Once windows are installed, it is more difficult to ensure the free flow of air, which leads to delayed drying of the building.
Insufficient air circulation in the building can also lead to permanent damage to the window joinery. If the building is closed too tightly, excess moist air will condense and settle on the internal elements, which can cause damage to them.
